PC Repairs Alone can be done all alone despite the nature of the network you are working in. One factor is all that you take out on the road with you can accommodate the most vital points of any PC Repair. It is surprising how many so called PC Repair Engineers come to a job without even a boot disk yet the call themselves engineers further more surprising is how many of these so called pc repairs engineers cannot even write a simple of script to automate a repetitious situation which can easily achieved with some knowledge of writing windows scripts. We all start from somewhere but good schooling and experience helps to minimise the time we spend on a job.
Comically I recall one so called pc repairs engineer who came to fix a modem which cost around £25.00 maximum at the time spent nine hours trying to do a pc repair on computer which clearly had problems with the current modem. Had he been clued up this job could have been done with an hour or less. Another factor is price do not fool yourself in believing you are worth some ridiculous price more than the PC is worth as the average everyday country folk just cannot afford to pay extortionate prices!
Be wise be fair, many people simply just do not have the money. Unless when you do a PC Repairs Alone job you keep in mind the customers pocket you could soon be totally out of pocket. Trouble is in this world to many so called pc repairs engineers have been overpaid and estimate themselves far more than they are worth. I am by no means saying you should undercut yourself and be underpaid but lets us say the going price to replace a hard drive is £80.00 we are speaking hypothetically what if your customer is poor and only has is £40.00 why say no if you have absolutely nothing doing. Sometimes giving people a chance is not such a bad thing and no bad thing should die.
PC Repairs Alone can often be far away from home and with not person you can ask for the bare essentials you need. So I strongly recommend you get write a list of all the things you feel you need most and as a rule check it before you leave home or your company and check it before you leave the ob you have finished working! Remember internet connections are not always easily accessible when you really need them and in some areas they are few and far between.
